Philippines ESL Journal

Welcome to the Philippine ESL Journal. The Journal is a refereed publication which aims at providing online access to all those involved in the research, teaching and learning of English as a lingua franca in the business, government, religious, entertainment, and academic sectors in the Philippines. PESLJ welcomes works that delve into the structure and development of English across the Philippines, and in particular, its relationship to and effect on local culture and local Filipino languages. Likewise, the journal publishes works of international students from across the globe who study in the Philippines. The Journal is the sister journal to the acclaimed world leading multidisciplinary journal, the Asian EFL Journal.

The Philippine English as a Second Language Journal is indexed in the Asian Education Index, Index Copernicus, Cabell’s Directory, Google Scholar, and Ulrich’s Web.
